Moving From Jealousy

It's a disease, like an infection. The sad reality is that when people are jealous of you or another they think it is not obvious when it is. Jealousy has a face and an attitude and even when you try to be phony about it, it still shows.

One of the many faces of jealousy

Some people are better at concealing their jealousy than others but eventually the truth will prevail as it always does. Chances are you know very well the people who are jealous of you, you are just denying it.

What the jealous person doesn't realize is that they wouldn't be jealous if they were not so wrapped up in what another person is doing, has or is successful at. Jealous people are jealous of the people around them simply because they don't appreciate the things that they have. More importantly I'd like to highlight that men can be jealous too.

EXAMPLE

A brother is jealous of a sister because she finished college before him.
A spouse is jealous of their signifigcant other because they have a more supportive family.
A friend is jealous of a friend who has a car, or better job.
A female is jealous of another because it appears her breast are bigger.

 

Jealousy it may be understandable but it is unacceptable!
 

Where as none of these people would not be jealous of the others if they were more conscerned with their own situations and appreciating or improving them.

If you know you are a jealous person and no longer want to deny it but want to change it then start to appreciate the things you have or want to improve and stop looking at everyone else.
