The End Is Always Coming

Now we all have been informed through some form of the media that the Mayan calendar is said to end in December 2012.

People are so preoccupied with the end of the world and when it is coming that they miss important facts.

One fact they miss is that the world was supposed to end in 2000.. Remember that one? The whole Y2K thing, people were saving water, buying personal generators and acting ridiculous. All because some genius somewhere said at midnight the Y2K bug was going to hit and damage technology and reality as we knew it would cease...

Then my favorite fact is that isn't this calendar from a group of people who are already gone? How do we know that they didn't live their version of 2012 already??? I guess there was a marker on the stone that told archeologist what date they were in when the Mayan civilation came to its end.

How do we know that's not the furthest they could count? How do we know that there isn't a second a third calendar stone some where?

How do we know that the Mayan Scholars aren't wrong?

These are all important details and questions we should be asking instead of getting frantic because of what a group of people thought so long ago.

Oh need I tell you that there was talk that a mid size asteroid that's going to crash into the planet in 2013 according to NASA and now they beg to differ.

Need I get into Nostradamus who predicted the world would end three times over in 1994, 1998 and in 2012.. Some of his prediction have been known to be true but for some reason WE ARE STILL HERE. =0)

I think if the end were coming we'd all feel it in our being, in the pit of our souls; we'd all know something catastrophic was coming.

I think I'm just going to focus on what I can and should be doing while I'm here because
for all we know the world may end tomorrow and we'd all wake up the next day in a better place.
Besides I've got some important things to finish before the worlds end and you know what so do you too.

So don't fret and just enjoy your life while it's still your life.
