Too funny, I find this to be comical. Bloomberg's Beverage Ban has been approved!!! YAY =0)
Now people are trying to petition this beverage ban that was approved by NYC health board mind you that board was appointed by the Mayor. Not to mention it's kind of late to be petitioning now. I think they should have taken a public vote on this one; so much for democracy.
I can just imagine all the funds that the city waisted studying, researching, proposing and approving this ban to address OBESITY. Meanwhile there are tons of beverages and products still readily available that contribute to obesity and more serious health problems.
Not to mention there is all this focus on wieght while our children suffer and our future as a nation is at risk because our educational system is FAILING!!!
Failing financially and failing in general. No after school programs because a lack of funds. There are no funds for supplies so parents are asked to but double the amount to help the classroom stock of supplies.
Now all this focus on people's weights... It's a distraction from our failing educational system.
Overcrowded class in Queens.

Need I remind you this is the same Mayor came into office with a primary goal of fixing the educational system which in my opinion has only gotten worse. Charter schools that were created to improve and address over crowding in city schools and Supplemental Educational Services faded away, due to lack of funding.
