Ridiculous Things Parents Deal With

Anyone who is a parent has to put up with ridiculous things that their children do. Some of the ridiculous things are the same no matter what age group your child or children are in; from them not hearing you after you've called them a hundred times and you know they don't have a hearing problem. Maybe they've developed their own sound effects and noises that they make all day long; noises other people think are cute but drive you crazy. These are ridiculous but there are worse. Below are some of the top ridiculous things most parents deal with.

1) Mommy/Daddy I'm tired or I'm sleepy. The minute you respond by getting them ready for bed, saying you need a nap or goodnight they are running away and telling you “no I’m not tired” or having a tantrum because they don’t want to go to bed.

2) Mommy, Mommy, Mommy/Daddy, Daddy, Daddy. Only for you to respond and they have nothing to say or just laugh because they wanted your attention.

3) Mommy/Daddy Can I?? Can You?? or can we?? You respond with "in a little while". Now every 30 seconds they are back to find out if the little while is up.

4) Mommy/Daddy but you said... Parents are constantly reminded of what they said and if they don't follow through there is that little voice to serve as a reminder of what they said

5) Mommy/Daddy I'm Hungry/thirsty. When you prepare them something they don't want it, or they have special demands that you can't fulfill so now they are not hungry!

6) Singing/repeating everything they hear and see on TV. Some children recite and re-enact the whole movie/show that they've seen one too many times and the best part is as a parent they want you to watch them and not the show even if you haven't seen it.

The beauty of parenting is you deal with all these ridiculous things with a smile.
Enjoy it while it lasts!
