Support, Support, Support

It's hard now-a-days for an aspiring talent to get support from their immediate circle. Relatives play blind, deaf or dumb because they're jealous or sometimes they are simply angry that they do not have enough courage to pursue their own dreams. "So-Called" friends sometimes try to discourage you and tell you that you are wasting your time or that you need to grow up.

One of the first things you have to do as an aspiring talent is identify these people as toxic and negative. You want to involve them less and less as you pursue a career or exposure related to your talent or craft. They will only continue to put you down and this takes a toll on your craft, confidence and will put a strain on the relationship you have with that negative individual.

The other thing you want to do is believe. Believe and believe some more, not only that you can make it happen, but believe in yourself. Believe that you can achieve any goal or dream you have your heart set on Yes, it's nice to see and know that the people in your immediate circle supports you and your dreams, however if you don't believe in yourself then you won't make anything happen for yourself.

Because I am an aspiring talent not only do I face plenty criticism and scrutiny from the people around me; there is definitely a lack of interest and support. I never take it personally because I know why they are being bitter and negative towards me and my dreams. Most importantly I use it as preparation for all the possible rumors, negative reports or any kind of exploitation I may face via the media once I take my career in entertainment to the maximum level.

I also bank on other thriving talents like myself. Due to the fact that I am an aspiring talent I meet other talents and I see that we share the same struggles. People are constantly putting us down and wishing us bad or worse. I love the fact that it doesn't shake us or break our will to pursue a life dream that has been imbedded in our existence..
I enjoy seeing talents promote their self and I am at that point. Currently, I am in the process of looking for book sponsors and donations to fund my publications. I have to honestly say I felt bad at first and did not want to publicize the fact that I am in pursuit of financial support because of the constant negative bashing I get from the toxic individuals around me.

As I was Facebook Surfing =0) I noticed one of my friends and fellow talents' is promoting his donation page. I was immediately inspired to write this article and share his link because I respect his courage and his will to keep on doing what he does despite of any negative words or energy he may encounter.

He is an up and coming Reggae artist named Ronnie Bops. Not only is he talented but he's making moves consistently. After several you tube videos and a horde of performances Ronnie Bops is ready to make his first full length album. Unlike me, Ronnie Bops has been brave enough to publicize his endeavors. Please be one of the many people to support him and his dreams by visiting and contributing to his donation page today! http://www.indiegogo.com/helpronniebops
