A Closer Look At I Have A Dream: Honoring MLK

 Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day

I noticed that too many people don't know the I Have A Dream Speech in its entirety. I realize that is why people are content with conditions as they are. Why? Because people are comfortable and feel like they are living his dream based off of the last 5 minutes of his very powerful, lengthy speech.

When you take a closer look at his speech you will see that he talks about voting, he talks about important governmental documentation yet for some reason people aren't voting and are completely blind to the information that these documents contain referring to our freedom as a whole.

I find it interesting that people who say and feel like we are living his dream aren't even aware of anything he says prior to the poetic portion of his speech, which is the last 5 minutes of a speech that was like 30 minutes long. Ask your self why don't they play it in full... because you'll be inclined to pay attention to politics and more people of color would vote.

He references how Negroes in NY felt like they don't have a reason to vote and as long as this continues we should not be satisfied. Well, too many of ya'll are satisfied not voting or caring about politics and too many people of color feel like they have no reason to vote... That doesn't sound like his dream when you look at it in full. 

How would you know if the government
decides to ignore the constitution and you don't
know what is in the constitution? 

Too many of us don't care about these politics and wonder why we face the conditions we face and the government doesn't do a thing. "When the architects of our Republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they we're signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir" ...  He continues further on "Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked ''insufficient funds.'' What's he saying there, sounds like we should be paying attention to the government because they aren't following their own by laws created by the countries founding fathers and they will start gypping people who aren't aware of what information is in these documents. 

I say this to say don't accept the status quo dig deeper for the truth and you will see how we are miles and miles from hitting the target of his ENTIRE vision. Let's promote peace the way he did, but you must know that in order to do that we have to know the politics because the governments are the first ones to destroy and disrupt the peace.

A Few Words For A King

Dear Mr. King, I think you did an amazing thing

Touching people with the messages the way you did

Speaking to people regardless of their race, class, gender or creed

Unfortunately these days’ important people forget that about you

It’s as though they don’t see the need

The need to connect with what’s different

To learn what’s different and these differences to embrace

The minute you’re something different you are labeled a disgrace

You could be a one of a kind that could never be replaced, yet you’re different and this is a disgrace.

People are afraid of the goverment
Tyranny Hidden In America

You Mr. King are a being that won’t ever be replaced

A one of a kind with so much grace

In masses people followed you like a sea of color

Now with you gone the government has been able to create disorder

The government doesn’t want people to do the things you have done

The minute someone speaks out the CIA and the FBI tracks them down with hidden guns

Now from the government people run

They hide,

They stop their journey before it has even begun

Oppressed we are and segregation continues

Yet people are distracted by all of the bright lights and shiny venues

They don’t realize we need to restore order

The sea of color is now distorted

Languages make communicating with the masses contorted

Many immigrants won’t embrace your sisters and brothers

Because when they enter they are lied to about us by another

They are told we are violent and criminals

The department of immigration discretely tells them to stay away from us in messages subliminal

Some of them don’t even know about you or other great black people like you

Making great speeches connecting with masses and different social classes

You did this at a time when people were segregated and were knee deep in division

You reached people in person and through the television

Now the government controls this vision to feed a great division

Now people run and they hide using their tunnel vision to drown out the truth

Although your birthday had been marked as a holiday people are forgetting the great things you’ve done

The assemblies, the rallies, the great marches

Without you the changes are no longer fun

The changes are created by cowards hiding in the shadow of the government and its lie of social betterment

Dear Mr. King, I think you did an amazing thing but only if you knew what changes the government would bring

Thank You 1000 Times: Give A Listen

I am writing to say thank you to everyone for the 1000 downloads on my broadcast (Too bad we can't see the actual plays, LOL) I am especially happy and grateful because, for me that means a lot.

Often times I am surrounded by people who don't listen to me. When they listen, it's unfortunate because now I'm misunderstood and now there's conflict. I've never been the best verbal communicator; I'm quick to write a letter or poem to communicate. 

I must admit though, this pod casting journey has been very encouraging and inspiring. Why? Well, because there was a time where I felt like I shouldn't be on Pod bean; let alone any other platform speaking because I am not a great public speaker. Apparently, some people think I have an accent, and talk fast and mumble at times. Despite the struggles that I face verbally conveying messages, something is working. People understand, the messages and jokes are registering and that makes me happy. =0)

I also want to take a moment to highlight the fact that people in general don't make good listeners. People don't listen to God, the people they love the most, family or friends surrounding them. I find it fascinating that people are taking the time to give a listen to my very raw, yet satire based comedic broadcast. I feel like I am being guided to speak to some people through the broadcast; I appreciate everyone who reaches out to me 1000 times  ( You get it?! LOL) I encourage you, reach out to me, I don't bite even if it sound like I do. (0=

There is a great degree of sadness, loneliness and madness in the world and we won't combat these things one bit if we don't ring true. That's why I speak from my heart; how I feel and what I think and I don't aim to be offensive or insulting. My goal is to stand corrected, to learn about things or people I don't know much about; so if you give a listen and feel offended reach out to me, don't bash me or tune out. Let's discuss it; how would any of us grow when we don't even know what has to be corrected?

Reveal Your Real Self: Some More on Beauty

I decide to post this message for every woman in America, or on the planet that lives in a society that does not appreciate people for their true self. My social media platform of choice is Instagram. Lately, as I am on Instagram, I've been noticing several post from women whose pages reflect an image of something people would much rather see than who these women truly are.

These women go out of their way to look as glorious as a super model. They paint their faces in masks and then the makeup is not enough. After they are all glammed up they use applications to edit and further perfect an image that suits the world.

I've never really thought twice about the painted faces; I just figured beauty is in the eye of the beholder and to each their own. However, as I scrolled through these "glamour girl" accounts I noticed several "cries for help" so to speak.

One woman a few weeks ago posted that she is not beautiful all the time and revealed her unpainted face in a collage that was surrounded by acceptably beautiful photos of her wearing make-up. I admired her for her bravery as she admitted that there is a drastic difference. At the same time I didn't appreciate that she stated that she is not pretty. I thought she was just fine without her make-up.

Another woman, much younger than the one I just mentioned, had a post about Face tunes and how she isn't going to use the APP any longer. I felt so touched by her post that I spoke about it on my broadcast. I informed her about the broadcast because something told me she needed to hear it. She messaged me back saying she cried... I wanted to cry when I made the post because there are very beautiful women out here being treated UGLY. We are under appreciated by society and most of the people in it. I can stand strong against it, but I realize there are some women who can't, so they conform to the societal ways not realizing that it's going to eat them up inside. 

You would think they are happy, but they are not. They have insecurities, they are sad and some of these women would NEVER, EVER DARE step out their rooms or homes without make up. Inside they feel ugly and they cry because of it. Little do they know they are the worlds truest beauties.

Ladies, I hope we all learn to reveal our true selves; embrace it and love it to the point where no matter what, or who doesn't like you or your beauty, you'll love it so much that you won't conceal the real you.

The Art Of My Heart

Another one of those poems. I'm dropping them left and right. Definitely can be classified in life's chapter of love unrequited. Hashtag Story of My Life: I like him, he don't like me...Oh hey, whaaat? you like me,    day-um I don't like you....Yeah my story alright. By the time they decide to like me I would have written the love and the passion out of my heart. Just too intense waiting...
This is another one I recently wrote.

My Heart of Art

Thank you for the art YOU left in my heart.

At first I thought I'd fall apart.

Loving someone who doesn't realize my heart, they STOLE.

I want to ask for it back, but not even I would dare to be that bold.

To ask you for something back that you don't even know you hold.

I daydream and think of how things would unfold.

I smile because it's warm, it's loving, it's a silver lining full of compassion, harmony and fun.

When the day dreaming is done, the weeping begun,

It hasn't stopped since the day it started.

The love for you in MY HEART weighs more than a ton.

Frozen and speechless; how will your love I win?

I rack my brain for a solution and I don't know where to begin.

So I write this love out,

These feelings are enough to make me want to shout.

Instead I pout and I can't doubt,

The intensity that I feel is LOVE.

It's warm, tender, nurturing and has been sent from above.

I won't deny it and I can no longer hide it.

I can't act on it, every time I try I fail.

Confirming that my heart must be for art.

Visiting Physics: The Law of Vibrations

I noticed when dealing with certain things there's a point of a challenge. Sometimes it hurts but you respond to the challenge in full force; challenge accepted =0)

I typically am interested to the science behind things and the philosophy to things. Due to that, I have explored things most people ignore. I spend enough time in solitude, being still, that I am intensely intuitive; be it that I am a female or Cancerian, I realize that I am. I have become receptive to things with my intuition, coupled with solitude and a knowledge of things that people aren't aware of, don't take seriously or simply don't pay attention to.  I could be on the phone and see my friends... I could tell them what they're wearing. I could be at home and sense that someone is thinking of me; I'll call them and ask what they need and they typically respond with nothing I was just thinking about you. I respond with I know. There are other people who think of me too, I just can't reach them but I'm aware. Some of them are reading these lines knowing I'm speaking of them. If I'm really still and quiet I can tune into conversations referencing my name.

I want to pause and inform you that I'm no different than anyone. The reason for these experiences, I believe is first and foremost because of GOD. Secondly, because I understand the laws of his universe, not because I read about it but I asked about it and for clarity. In short I understand some of these laws that most people don't even know exist. This blog post is going to focus on the Law of Vibration, however many of you may be familiar with the Law of Attraction and wonder why it does not work for you... Well did you know there are 20 universal laws... Now if you have been trying to attract things just know you missed a step in acquiring the necessary wisdom to decipher, utilize and crack that universal law. The Law of Attraction is fueled by the Law of Vibration. The Law of Vibration states that everything is constantly moving and vibrating generating frequencies of both high and low. It further states that everything is made of energy and never rests. When there is a pause in movement it is considered a period of transformation. The vibrations we omit make us connected to, and CAN connect us to people who are vibrating on the same frequency, or wave length if you will. The connections made come through the law of attraction, but its the vibration that puts you in alignment with those thing synonymous with you.

It does not matter if you do not know them. These frequencies connect us to people and things despite the distance or conscious familiarity. The Law of Vibrations refers to our existence on a molecular, or atomic level if you will. The best part of this law is it effects all avenues of life, especially love. Love is a light vibration and of a high frequency.

People who are operating on the same frequency can be receptive of each others needs. NAMES even have a vibration frequency. Usually when people are vibrating the same energy, or frequency harmoniously they can be receptive to each other. I would also like to point out that the 17th universal law is the Law Of Unconditional Love.

I tend to cross reference these things to my scripture for clarity and this is the step people miss. They tend to believe in these laws and misunderstand them because they are not seeking council from God. Simply stated apply these laws in the real world while continuously asking God for his guidance. Once you have the wisdom and willingness to be still and listen to him, you will be able to hear him, his messages and instructions. Allowing him to speak and move through you because you are operating on his frequency of love.

I chose to share this information because of a few recent experiences that I've had concerning someone I don't know well. I realize we are communicating indirectly, be it by accident or intention; it's happening. Then again nothing is by accident. I wish this individual wasn't so doubtful of God's magic in love. I also hope that one day they can admit that they can sense me in the same way I sense them and carry them everywhere I go. Deep down I know they do, but they lack the courage to ACT. I've done my part, so now it's back to my Art.
